While education and knowledge go a long way, sometimes the in-person support of another human can make all the difference. For a helping hand in the first year of life, I offer a range of services and packages to be there for you and help you through.

I become a postpartum doula after the birth of our third child. After his birth I finally learnt to accept help and to ask for it. With this in mind I wanted to be that extra set of hands and emotional support so that women and families could ask for help and receive it before their third child.

​

I love working as a postpartum doula and believe it is an honour and a privilege to work with families during this time in their lives. The support I offer each family is different but each family receives warm reassuring, non-judgemental help that will help you through your babies first year of life. It is the practical, emotional and reminder that you are doing a great job regardless if this is your first or fourth time in this role. Some of the support I offer includes:

• Emotional Support - birth debrief, listen to your concerns and remind you that you are doing an incredible job.

• Baby Care - changing, watching, holding or feeding baby while you sleep, have a shower or time to yourself.

• Cooking - preparing and cooking meals and snacks that your family likes to eat that can easily be re-heated or cooked.

• Education - sharing little tricks and learning during those early stages of parenting. I can help with the first bath at home, tummy time and referring on to local services when needed.

• Light household duties - washing, folding and putting away of clothes, emptying dishwashers, tidying kitchens. taking rubbish out sweeping the floor and changing your bed sheets. Is there anything better then getting into a bed with new clean sheets on it? I can even run close errands.

• Sibling and household support - I can work with older siblings to help them adjust to their new roles and help to ensure their cup is full. I can walk pets and can help before baby arrives in washing baby clothes and helping arrange the nursery.

Postpartum doula support is available in 2026 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and selected evenings or weekends by request with areas serviced including Perth (SOR), Bibra Lake and surrounding areas.
